Sinus lift in Turkey: rebuild the bone height needed for an implant, from €600.
Maxillary sinus floor elevation performed by implant-trained dental surgeons in Istanbul, certified Bio-Oss substitute, crestal or lateral approach matched to your anatomy. EU office for English-speaking follow-up from CT scan to implant placement.
Lifting the sinus to rebuild bone: how it works
The maxillary sinus is an air-filled cavity above your upper molars. When a tooth is lost, the supporting bone resorbs and the sinus floor drops. The sinus lift reverses this process.
CBCT scan
3D measurement of residual bone height between the alveolar ridge and the sinus floor. Protocol decision.
Surgical access
Local anaesthesia, gingival flap. Crestal approach (implant socket) or lateral approach (bony window) depending on residual bone.
Elevation & graft
Careful elevation of the Schneiderian membrane, placement of Bio-Oss optionally mixed with autologous PRF.
Sutures & healing
Tight closure, resorbable membrane if needed. 4 to 6 months of ossification before implant placement.
Internal sinus lift (crestal)
A minimally invasive technique known as the Summers approach. The surgeon accesses the sinus directly through the future implant osteotomy and gently lifts the membrane with osteotomes.
- Indication: residual bone 5 to 8 mm
- Bone gain: 2 to 4 mm
- Simple recovery, minimal swelling
- Implant often placed in the same session
From €600
External sinus lift (lateral)
An adapted Caldwell-Luc technique. The surgeon opens a bony window in the lateral wall of the maxilla to visualise and broadly elevate the sinus membrane.
- Indication: residual bone under 5 mm
- Bone gain: 5 to 10 mm
- Direct visualisation, maximum safety
- Delayed implant placement (4-6 months)
From €850
Which bone substitute to choose?
Our standard protocol uses Bio-Oss Geistlich (Switzerland), deproteinised bovine bone, biocompatible, with slow resorption — it acts as a "scaffold" on which your own bone rebuilds. We almost systematically combine it with PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin), obtained by centrifuging your blood drawn on the day: it accelerates healing and improves graft integration. As an option, we offer human allografts (bone bank) or synthetic biomaterials (β-TCP) on personalised review.

Before/after CT scans, measured bone gains, implants placed at 6 months.
The sinus lift in Turkey is a pre-implant surgery that elevates the maxillary sinus membrane and rebuilds lost bone height, an essential condition for placing an implant in the upper molar zone. At Elybe Clinic, prices start at €600 for the crestal technique (mini sinus lift) and €850 for the lateral approach, versus €1,700 to €2,800 in France, Belgium or Switzerland. Bio-Oss biomaterial + autologous PRF, 4 to 6 months of healing, written guarantee and English-speaking follow-up from our Ris-Orangis office.

Sinus lift Turkey: all you need to know
At Elybe Clinic a sinus lift starts at €600 (crestal technique) and €850 (lateral approach), compared with €1,700 to €2,800 in France, Belgium or Switzerland. When residual bone allows, the implant can be placed in the same session for €1,100 all-in.
After an upper molar extraction, the alveolar bone resorbs and the maxillary sinus drops. Often only 2-4 mm of bone height remain, insufficient to anchor an implant which needs 8 to 10 mm. The sinus lift raises the membrane and rebuilds that height.
Internal sinus lift (crestal, Summers) goes through the future implant socket: minimally invasive, used when residual bone is 5-8 mm. External sinus lift (lateral) opens a window in the lateral wall: used when residual bone is below 5 mm. CT scan dictates the route.
Elybe Clinic primarily uses Bio-Oss Geistlich (Switzerland) — deproteinised bovine bone, biocompatible, highly osteoconductive. We combine it with PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin from your own blood) to accelerate healing. Human allografts or synthetic biomaterials available on request.
The procedure is done under local anaesthesia, painless. Recovery involves moderate swelling for 3-5 days, easily managed with a standard painkiller and ice. Avoid strong nose blowing, sneezing with closed mouth and flying for 10 days.
4 to 6 months of bone healing after the sinus lift before placing the implant, the time the graft needs to integrate. In some cases (residual bone above 5 mm), the implant can be placed simultaneously in a single procedure.
The main risk is perforation of the Schneiderian membrane, managed without consequence in most cases thanks to a resorbable membrane. Other risks (sinusitis, infection, graft displacement) are rare (under 3%) and controlled by antibiotic prophylaxis.
