Zirconia veneers in Turkey: 1,200 MPa of strength, from €280.
The veneer engineered to last. Y-TZP zirconium dioxide milled by CAD/CAM, sintered at 1,500 °C and hand-stained — the reference solution for bruxers, posterior teeth and anyone wanting a smile that holds 15 to 20 years. Complimentary nightguard included.

When ceramic metallurgy meets aesthetics
Zirconium dioxide is not just another ceramic. Its crystalline structure gives it mechanical properties unique in modern dentistry.
Y-TZP stabilised
Tetragonal polycrystalline zirconia stabilised with 3-5% yttria (Y2O3). Ultra-dense structure, controlled opacity.
CAD/CAM milling
Pre-sintered block milled on our 5-axis units from digital impressions (accuracy < 20 μm).
Sintering 1,500 °C
12-hour firing in a sintering oven. The zirconia densifies, gains 20% strength and shrinks by about 25%.
Staining & bonding
Hand-layered shade effects by the ceramist, glazing, bonding with MDP resin cement (Panavia V5).
The secret of "toughening"
Y-TZP zirconia has a unique mechanical property: martensitic transformation. When a microcrack forms, surrounding crystals change phase (tetragonal → monoclinic) and expand locally by 4%, closing the crack. This self-arresting mechanism makes zirconia exceptionally resistant to fracture propagation.
Ideal indications
Zirconia shines whenever the case is mechanically demanding:
- Bruxism diurnal or nocturnal
- Premolars and molars visible in the smile
- Non-vital teeth with darkened substrate
- Replacements of older crowns in porcelain
- Patients seeking maximum longevity (15-20 years)
Monolithic vs multilayer zirconia: the aesthetic revolution
Early zirconia generations were opaque and required feldspathic layering to look natural — at the cost of surface fragility. The newer multilayer Y-TZP generations (Katana STML, Cercon xt, Zirlux) bake gradients of translucency and shade directly into the block. More opaque cervically, more translucent incisally: the result gets remarkably close to a natural tooth without sacrificing 1,200 MPa strength. We exclusively use these multilayer blocks in the aesthetic zone.

The zirconia veneer is a shell of tetragonal zirconium dioxide (Y-TZP) milled by CAD/CAM, sintered at 1,500 °C and hand-layered. With 1,200 MPa flexural strength — three times Emax — it is the reference for bruxers, posterior veneers and every cosmetic project requiring maximum longevity (15-20 years). At Elybe Clinic, prices start at €280 per veneer, versus €800 to €1,400 in France, Belgium or Switzerland. Placement during a single 5 to 7-day stay, complimentary nightguard, 5-year guarantee.

Zirconia veneers Turkey: all you need to know
A zirconia veneer is a high-strength ceramic shell — yttria-stabilised tetragonal zirconium dioxide (Y-TZP) — milled by CAD/CAM and sintered at 1,500 °C. It develops a strength of 1,200 MPa, three times higher than Emax, the reference for bruxism, parafunctions and posterior teeth.
At Elybe Clinic a zirconia veneer starts at €280, versus €800 to €1,400 in France, Belgium or Switzerland. A full smile of 10 zirconia veneers is €2,800 with us versus €8,000-€14,000 in a European practice.
Zirconia (1,200 MPa) is 3× stronger than Emax (400 MPa) but slightly more opaque. Zirconia for bruxism, premolars/molars, maximum longevity (15-20 years). Emax for maximum translucency on incisors. Modern multilayer zirconia (Katana, Cercon HT) has narrowed the aesthetic gap.
Yes, that's their hallmark indication. The 1,200 MPa strength and resistance to crack propagation make zirconia particularly suitable. They are still prescribed with a complimentary nightguard — included in the Elybe package — and an annual review.
15 to 20 years under normal conditions — the longest lifespan among ceramic veneers. Published 10-year clinical studies on monolithic zirconia report survival rates above 96%.
Slightly more opaque, yes. But modern multilayer zirconia (Katana STML, Cercon xt) has narrowed the gap. For patients with dark substrate (post-endodontics), zirconia masks better. We offer the option of Emax layered over zirconia on highly visible incisors.
A single 5 to 7-day stay. Day 1: smile design. Day 2: prep and impressions. Days 3-5: CAD/CAM milling, 12-hour sintering, layered staining. Day 6: try-in. Day 7: adhesive bonding and final photos.
